The Amperor 3003 is the smallest of the Amperor 3003, 4004 and 5005 power amplifier series. It can run as a normal stereo amp, in parallel, or mono-bridged. Rated output is 2x 500 W at 8 ohm and 2x 700 W at 4 ohm in stereo, or 1x 1400 W at 8 ohm bridged. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
Protection includes a soft-start limiter, overload and short-circuit protection, transient pulse protection and a thermal protective system. Cooling is by fans with variable speed, and power comes from a switch-mode supply. Channels A and B have separate amplifier circuits.
For system setup there is an active diplexer with an adjustable range of 25 Hz to 150 Hz, a processing switch for equalising audio signals, and a subwoofer/low-cut switch for direct control of subwoofers and satellites. Inputs are XLR and 6.3 mm jacks. Outputs are PA speaker cable connections and 6.3 mm jacks. The unit measures 483 x 88 x 490 mm and weighs 12.0 kg.
