The pedal has two footswitches: LOOP handles recording, overdubbing and start/stop, while RHYTHM controls the drum track and triggers fills. The LOOP switch also detects tap-tempo input to set the drum tempo. Two looper actions are offered, Record-Play and Record-Overdub, along with two start modes (normal or auto-record on first note) and three stop modes (normal, fine stop at phrase end, and a 10-second fade out).

The drum section holds 40 patterns and fills across 4/4, 3/4 and shuffle feels, with tempo from 40 to 240. A fill started during playback runs to the end of the current bar. An optional drum sound enhancement adjusts the frequency balance for guitar amps, PA systems or small practice amps. A One Shot mode plays loaded backing tracks once without looping; files must be 24-bit/44.1 kHz stereo WAV, and a free format converter for Windows and macOS prepares other files.

There are two outputs with three routing modes for guitar and drums, and the right output can apply speaker cabinet emulation for direct PA use. An external footswitch jack accepts the optional NMP-2 for switching between loop phrases. Power comes from a 9 V adapter, and a Micro-B USB port is fitted.
