Ci200TRB
In-ceiling subwoofer from KEF's architectural range, built around a 200 mm (8 in.) ultra-thin T Series woofer. It suits installations with very little mounting depth, such as narrow ceiling or wall cavities in apartments and home theatres.

The Ci200TRB is a shallow-mount 200 mm (8 in.) subwoofer that uses a subwoofer version of KEF's ultra-thin T Series woofer driver. It needs under 59 mm of mounting depth, so it fits in tight ceiling or wall spaces where a conventional bass unit would not.
It can run in two ways. In passive mode it extends the low end of KEF's Ci160TR round or Ci160TS square speakers, with a recommended amplifier power of 10-125 W and a frequency response of 42 Hz-120 Hz. In active mode it is driven by the KEF KASA500 System Amplifier, which lowers the response to 32 Hz-120 Hz and gives the output expected of a subwoofer in a home theatre.
The nominal impedance is 2 x 8 Ohm in stereo mode or 16 Ohm in mono mode, and sensitivity is 87 dB (2.83 V / 1 m). The grille-fronted unit measures 290 x 290 mm with a 240 x 240 mm cut-out and weighs 1.7 kg.
