The LINEAR 5 LTS is a passive 2-way mid/high cabinet that gives long-throw coverage (30 m and beyond) in a compact box. It suits small to medium live and corporate events and installation projects, where fewer cabinets and faster rigging are wanted.

The LINEAR 5 LTS is a passive two-way mid/high unit in a bass-reflex cabinet. It combines three 8" cone speakers with a 1" compression driver on an MCT horn, and splits the signal at 1.7 kHz. It is rated at 600 W RMS (1200 W program) into 8 ohms and reaches a peak SPL of 138 dB. Horizontal dispersion is 60°, with a vertical pattern of +5°/-25°.
The cabinet is built to project the full frequency range over long distances that were previously the job of larger line arrays. Using fewer cabinets can save transport space, and the rigging and ground-stacking hardware is meant to make setup quicker. It has HK Audio MonoTilt 0° and five M8 rigging points, plus two MultiGrip carrying handles. The housing is hybrid birch plywood and MDF in jet black, with a steel grille backed by acoustic foam.
Connection is by NL4 Speakon, with one input and one parallel output, and the pin assignment is switchable. DSP presets and filter sheets are available for Lab.gruppen IPX and IPD series amplifiers, Lake processors, Ashly and DSM 2060. A range of accessories is offered, including tilt units, pole mounts, covers and a rain cover set.
