Beskrivning
The CD-140SCE is a right-handed, single-cutaway dreadnought with a solid spruce top braced with a scalloped X pattern. The back and sides are laminated ovangkol, finished in gloss. Cosmetic details include a pearloid CD Series rosette, a one-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, black neck binding and chrome hardware. It is offered in Natural and Sunburst.
The mahogany neck uses Fender's Easy-to-Play shape with rolled fingerboard edges. It carries a walnut fingerboard with a 12" radius, 20 vintage-size frets, 3mm pearloid dot inlays, a Graph Tech NuBone nut 43 mm wide, and a dual-action truss rod. The scale length is 25.3" (643 mm). Strings fitted are Fender Dura-Tone 880L coated 80/20 in .012-.052 gauge.
For amplified use the guitar has a Fender-exclusive Fishman CD-1 pickup and preamp system. Its controls are volume, bass and treble, plus an integrated electronic tuner with on/off switch and a low-battery indicator light. A hardshell case is included. A manual and warranty document are listed as downloads.
