Beskrivning
The SG Tribute in Cherry is a double-cutaway electric guitar built around a mahogany-type body (Okoume or Sapelli) with a gloss finish. It carries a bolt-on mahogany neck with a 60s SlimTaper C profile, a laurel fingerboard with dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 628.65 mm (24.75 in) scale.
The electronics consist of an Epiphone 650R ceramic humbucker at the neck and a 700T ceramic humbucker at the bridge, both under nickel covers. A 3-way toggle selects between them, and the guitar has one volume and one tone control. Hardware includes a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, a LockTone stop bar tailpiece and die-cast tuning machines with a 15:1 ratio, plus a 3-ply SG Special pickguard.
The guitar connects through a standard 1/4" output jack. It is also available in a left-handed version, and an optional gig bag (940-EPIGIG) is sold separately. It ships with a 10-46 gauge string set (.010 to .046).
