The OD-M81-BK is a two-way outdoor/indoor speaker with an 8-inch polypropylene woofer and a 25 mm silk dome tweeter. The cabinet is made of UV-resistant plastic and carries an IP66 rating. It ships sealed, and removable port plugs let the owner open the ports for more bass output when weather allows.
The design has no large visible knobs, and the mounting brackets sit inside the housing. A supplied bracket lets the speaker be fixed to a wall, ceiling or corner, in vertical or horizontal orientation. The logo rotates to match the chosen orientation, and the shoulder mount is marked in 15-degree steps so several speakers can be lined up consistently. A rear plastic cover with a watertight wire grommet hides the cabling and keeps the IP66 protection.
The speaker connects through 5-way binding posts and has an 8 Ω nominal impedance. It is rated for 100 W nominal and 150 W peak power, with a recommended amplifier range of 30 to 180 W. It is offered in black and white finishes.
