The R101BT is a compact 2.1 system made up of a subwoofer and a pair of angled satellite speakers. The subwoofer has a vertical cube-shaped MDF cabinet with a 4-inch (106 mm) driver firing downward. The dual magnetic circuit design shields it magnetically, so it can sit near a monitor or TV without distorting the picture.
The satellites each have a 13 mm treble unit and are also magnetically shielded. They are tilted to point the sound toward the listener. Total RMS output is 2 W x 2 from the satellites and 4.5 W from the subwoofer, with a stated frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz.
Sources connect through either Bluetooth (version 4.0) or a wired AUX input. The control panel is on the side of the subwoofer, which keeps the controls within easy reach. The finish is black.
