Beskrivning
The GB24JJ is a bolt-on electric bass from Cort's GB Series. It has a poplar body capped with a flamed maple top, which gives it a figured, upscale look. The poplar is described as tonally close to alder, with a full-bodied resonance.
The neck is hard maple with a jatoba fingerboard, a 34-inch scale and 20 frets. An ergonomic neck joint is intended to make the upper register easier to reach and reduce strain on the hand and wrist. The nut is 1 1/2 inches wide and the fingerboard radius is 9.45 inches.
Electronics are passive: a Cort Powersound JJ-style pickup set, with the neck pickup supplying a smooth natural tone and the bridge pickup adding clarity and articulation. Two volume controls and one tone control let the player blend the pickups. Hardware is chrome, with a vintage-style bridge and open gear tuners. It is offered in 2 Tone Burst and Trans Black finishes.
