The EURODESK SX2442FX is a 24-input mixer with four subgroups. It has 16 phantom-powered XENYX mic preamps, four stereo input channels, two aux sends, two stereo FX returns and inserts on every mono channel. Each mono channel has a 3-band British-style EQ with a semi-parametric mid band.
Two 24-bit dual-engine stereo effects processors provide 99 presets, including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and combination effects. An input meter is included, and the effects can be routed to a range of destinations. An FBQ feedback detection system lights the LED on the EQ fader that matches a detected feedback frequency, showing which fader to pull back.
Other routing and monitoring tools include main inserts for connecting graphic EQs or compressor/limiters, a mono output with a sweepable low-pass filter for feeding active subwoofers, and a talkback channel with a built-in microphone for speaking to performers.
