Euroshield 1
Euroshield 1 is a Eurorack-format carrier board that turns a separately bought Teensy 3.x development board into a programmable synth module. It suits hobbyists and developers who want to write their own audio and CV processing code in Arduino tools. It is listed as discontinued.

Euroshield 1 holds a Teensy 3.0–3.6 board in a socket and brings its audio, control voltage and MIDI signals out to Eurorack-standard jacks. The Teensy is plugged in without soldering and stays exposed when the board is mounted in a rack. What the module does is defined entirely by the code loaded onto the Teensy, so it can act as a filter, reverb, oscillator or CV generator, and it can be reprogrammed at any time.
The board has two audio inputs and two audio outputs working at the Eurorack -5V to +5V level. They are DC coupled, so they can also carry control voltage. MIDI input and output are provided on 3.5mm TRS minijacks. For performance control there are two knobs, one push button and four LEDs, all available to the user's code. Ten demo sketches cover filtering, reverb and VCO examples.
Power comes from a Eurorack supply through a ribbon cable. Programming is done from a PC or Mac with the Arduino and Teensyduino tools, sending code to the Teensy over a USB A to micro-B cable. The Teensy board, the USB cable and an optional TRS-to-DIN MIDI adapter are not included.
