Beskrivning

The CC-222MKIV combines a CD recorder and an auto-reverse cassette deck in a single 3U chassis. It succeeds the CC-222SLMKII and changes the CD section to a tray-loading drive. Dolby B noise reduction is not supported. The two sections can be operated independently, including simultaneous recording, and material can be dubbed in either direction or played back continuously across both.

The CD section records to CD-R and CD-RW (including high speed CD-RW) and plays CD-DA, data CDs and MP3 files. Recording tools include sync recording, automatic and time-based track division, fade-in/fade-out, digital level adjustment, a sampling rate converter for 32 to 48kHz sources, selectable copy ID, track erase and unfinalize for CD-RW. Playback offers pitch control, key control, several repeat modes, intro check and timer playback. The cassette section supports Type I and II recording, Type IV playback only, with pitch control of +/-10%.

Inputs and outputs are unbalanced RCA analog, coaxial and optical S/PDIF digital, and an MM phono input with its own preamp for connecting a turntable directly. A 6.3mm headphone output is provided. A wireless remote controller and rack-mounting screws are included, and the AC cable is detachable.
