Sonos Ace Ultra is a wireless over-ear headphone with adaptive active noise cancellation, an Aware mode that lets outside sound through, and sidetone for calls. A custom 40 mm driver sits in each ear cup. Spatial audio with Dolby Atmos and dynamic head tracking is supported with compatible content and devices. Lossless audio is available over Bluetooth with aptX on a supported device, or over USB-C.
With a compatible Sonos soundbar, TV sound can be sent to the headphones, and TrueCinema tunes the output to the room. Headphone linking, an Early Access feature, lets the Content Key push music from a compatible Sonos speaker to the headphones and back. Wear detection pauses playback when they come off. The Sonos app offers 3-band or 8-band EQ, and Adaptive EQ adjusts for fit, glasses and hair.
The headphones connect over Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi, and by wire through USB-C or a 3.5 mm cable. Ear cushions and the battery are replaceable. A travel case and two cables are included.
