This set pairs an SKM 500 G4 handheld transmitter in a black aluminium housing with an MMD 945 supercardioid dynamic capsule and an EM 300-500 G4 half-rack receiver. The receiver has a full-metal housing and an OLED display, and the transmitter and receiver synchronise with each other by infrared.
The system offers up to 88 MHz of bandwidth with 3520 selectable frequencies in the UHF range, and up to 32 compatible channels. RF output power is adjustable in three steps (10, 30 and 50 mW), subject to country regulations. The transmitter typically runs for about 8 hours on its batteries.
The receiver has a 6.3 mm unbalanced audio output and an Ethernet port. The port connects the receiver to Wireless Systems Manager (WSM) software, which is used for frequency coordination in multi-channel installations. A GA 3 rack kit, a mic clamp, two rod antennas and a power supply are included.
