FLEXpro16

FLEXpro16 is a card-based video image processor and multiviewer switcher built on a pure hardware FPGA architecture. The chassis takes plug-in input and output cards that can be chosen to suit the application, and the cards can be hot-swapped. Two power modules run as hot backup. It combines mixed-signal input, arbitrary routing, seamless switching and multi-screen processing in one unit.

Each output module supports 8-layer cross-screen synchronous display, with horizontal splicing across modules (splicing within a single module is not supported). Processing is 12-bit for HDMI 1.3 inputs and outputs with RGB 4:4:4 colour space, plus de-interlacing and interlaced output. Two HD multiview ports let an operator monitor up to 16 input and output sources at once, and up to 16 Dante audio input channels can be monitored. Static and dynamic OSD titles are available, and one input can be switched to several outputs together.

Operation is through a 4-inch HD touch screen showing input and output status and menus. Two network ports are provided: one for local LAN communication and one for remote control and monitoring (H.265). A programmable control panel can be connected over Ethernet or serial port for remote control.
