The D2 is a two-channel presentation switcher and seamless scaler that converts and scales many input signal types to DVI and HDMI outputs. It suits live events and AV installations that need switching between mixed sources with keying and image positioning.

The D2 combines a video scaler, scan converter, switcher and transcoder in one unit. It accepts composite, component, VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort and 3G-SDI sources, with loop-through outputs for the DVI and SDI inputs. Two independent output channels are fitted as standard, with DVI and HDMI connections.
Processing features include seamless switching between the two channels, format and frame conversion, scaling and positioning, picture-in-picture, downstream keying with chroma key, automatic noise reduction, 10-bit processing, rotation and flip, and custom resolutions. Further tools include EDID management, a test pattern generator, logo capture and signal backup.
An input option slot takes user-fitted modules that add USB 2.0 media playback and 4K input. Optional 3G-SDI and HDBaseT outputs allow native downstream connections. Genlock input and loop-out are included, and an open API lets third-party systems control the unit. XPOSE control software is supported.
