SW4

The SW4 routes four balanced audio channels between two sets of sources. Each channel has XLR inputs and a transformer-isolated output, which removes hum and buzz caused by ground loops. Channels can be switched individually or linked so that stereo or quad pairs change together.

Channel 1 has an A+B mix function that sums both inputs, so a source such as an MC wireless mic can stay live while the other channels switch. PFL switches and a headphone output let a technician monitor any channel before it goes live. The unit handles +20dB of signal level for high-output systems.

Typical uses include swapping between two mixing consoles at festivals, switching between two wireless systems or wireless guitars for backup, changing between two digital playback systems in stereo, and handing over between a DJ and a band in a club. Any balanced audio source can be switched.
