PMC15 SUBXBD

The PMC15 SUBXBD extends the low-frequency capability of the PMC15 active three-way monitor. Combined with the PMC15, it forms a PMC15 XBD system with more headroom and a more consistent bass response across the listening area. It can be set up as a vertical tower or horizontally side by side, and installed free-standing or in a soffit.

The cabinet uses the same 15-inch long-throw bass driver as the PMC15 master monitor, in an Advanced Transmission Line enclosure with an effective length of 4 m and Laminair airflow technology. The design aims to reduce turbulence and unwanted artefacts at high levels and to keep harmonic distortion low across the operating range.

No extra amplifier is needed. Power, signal management and system control come from the existing PMC15 master36 DSP/amplifier, which supplies up to 1000 W to the LF driver and keeps features such as excursion limiting and room-alignment EQ. Setup and control run over a standard LAN connection through the browser-based SoundAlign2 interface. The unit is listed as currently in production, with a waitlist open.
