The 2MR Black LVB 250 builds on the 2M Black moving-magnet design. It swaps in a boron cantilever, which is stiff and light, and a nude Shibata diamond stylus with a slim, highly polished profile that contacts a wide area of the groove wall.
The suspension uses a Nano Tube rubber compound filled with multi-wall carbon nanotubes, intended to damp better and improve overall performance. The coil system is a quad-coil layout with split pole pins and silver-plated OFC wire.
The body is cut narrow for low-form-factor tonearms such as those on Rega turntables. It mounts with two screws on a half-inch mount and needs no spacers or modifications under the tonearm. A replacement stylus (Stylus 2M Black LVB 250) is listed.
