The tube combines a linear light source with a diffused surface, so it gives soft output without extra modifiers. It offers bi-colour control from 2700K to 7500K with ±100 green/magenta adjustment, plus hue and saturation control for about 36,000 colours. Colour quality is rated at an average CRI of 95 and TLCI of 97, and it includes 17 listed effects such as fire, TV, police car, welding and lightning.
It runs from a built-in 2200mAh battery for about 1 hour 10 minutes at full brightness, and it can be charged over USB-C from a power bank or wall source. It can also run continuously on external power. Both ends have 1/4"-20 receivers, and built-in magnets and supplied iron plates allow mounting on metal or taped surfaces. It also fits most T12-diameter accessories.
Control is from the on-body screen and buttons, from the NANLINK mobile app for iOS and Android over Bluetooth, or over built-in 2.4G with the WS-RC-C2 handheld remote or the WS-TB-1 transmitter box (both sold separately). Custom presets can be saved in the app.
