The HTR 10 is a universal-style remote that ships with NAD commands already loaded, so it works with a wide range of NAD components, both current and legacy, without setup. Device selection keys let one handset switch between up to five components, and punch-through operation gives quick access to volume and other key functions across devices.
For equipment from other brands or special control needs, the remote can learn IR commands, with room for up to 220. Macros let a single button press trigger a series of actions; storage covers up to 48 macros of up to 64 commands each. The remote generates IR signals up to 500 kHz to cover a broad range of devices.
The button layout has improved navigation controls and direct source access for faster changes. A backlit keypad with an adjustable timeout helps with use in dim rooms. Control is by infrared. A data sheet and manuals in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish and Russian are available for download.
