The JVM210 Head is a 100W valve amplifier head with two channels and three gain stages. Each channel has its own gain, bass, middle, treble, volume and reverb controls, while presence and resonance are shared. A master volume can be switched for each channel, so a lead channel can be set louder than a rhythm one. Sound is produced by four EL34 power valves, with four ECC83 preamp valves and a further ECC83 as phase splitter.
Settings for mode, master and reverb can be stored and recalled with the programmable footswitch that comes with the amp. There is digital reverb on board, and two effects loops, one series/parallel and one series.
Speaker connection is through five 1/4" jack sockets that cover 16, 8 and 4 ohm loads. An emulated line output on XLR is provided, along with MIDI In and MIDI Thru for control. The amp is designed, engineered and hand-assembled at the maker's UK factory, and is finished in black. It weighs 22 kg.
