Compact overdrive pedal modelled on the tone of the Marshall 1959 amp, aimed at guitarists who want classic Plexi-style crunch on a pedalboard. It has rotary tone controls, an illuminated footswitch and runs on a 9 V supply or battery.

The 1959 Overdrive Pedal brings the sound of the 1959 amplifier into a small enclosure. It is voiced for crunchy, Plexi-style overdrive and aims to keep the dynamic range and clarity of the original amp. The finish is black and gold, following the look of Marshall amplifiers.
Control is handled by rotary knobs that mirror the functions of the controls on the amp it is based on, together with a footswitch that lights up when in use. The pedal has a single 1/4" jack input and a single 1/4" jack output, so it fits into a standard mono pedalboard chain.
Power comes from an external 9 V DC supply with a centre-negative plug, or from a battery, which is rated for around 30 hours of play time. The external power supply is not included with the pedal. The unit weighs 0.74 kg. It was designed and engineered in the UK and made in Vietnam.
