Prologue
A polyphonic analog synthesizer with a full-size keyboard, available as a 16-voice 61-key model or an 8-voice 49-key model. It combines two analog oscillators with a digital multi engine and onboard effects, and is aimed at stage and studio players.

The prologue is built around a signal path of two analog VCOs plus a digital multi engine, one filter, two envelope generators, one VCA and one LFO. The filter is a two-pole low-pass design with drive and a low cut switch, and the oscillators offer wave shaping and a sync/ring switch. The multi engine provides noise, a VPM (FM-style) oscillator with 16 types, and a user oscillator section with 16 slots.
The instrument is bi-timbral, so two programs can be layered, split or crossfaded. Voice modes are Poly, Mono, Unison and Chord, and the arpeggiator covers four octaves with six types. Two digital effect units handle modulation and delay/reverb, and 16 user effect slots accept custom programs. The 16-voice model also has an analog low-frequency compressor with a VU meter. 500 programs can be re-sorted in eight ways.
Custom oscillators and effects are created with the prologue SDK and loaded through the Librarian software. The keyboard is a Japanese-made natural touch type, and the body combines an aluminum front panel with oak side panels. The unit can sync with other groove machines.
