Round in-ceiling speaker with a 200 mm (8 in.) Uni-Q coaxial driver, aimed at custom installations. It has a very shallow mounting depth, a paintable magnetic grille and IP64 weather resistance.

The Ci200.2CR is a flush-mount ceiling speaker from KEF's Ci-C Series, an entry point into the maker's custom-installation range. It uses a Uni-Q driver array in which a 16 mm aluminium dome tweeter with a tangerine waveguide sits at the acoustic centre of a 200 mm (8 in.) bass/midrange cone. Both drivers therefore behave as a single point source, spreading sound widely and evenly through the room.
The speaker is built for discreet installation. Ultra-Thin Bezels and an exceptionally flat grille are meant to be barely visible at the edge, and the magnetic grille and bezel can both be painted. Mounting depth from the surface is 97.2 mm (3.83 in.), which allows fitting where deeper speakers of this class will not go. A weather-resistant treatment protects against moisture and UV light, and the speaker is IP64 certified.
It is an open-backed 8 ohm design with 90 dB sensitivity and a 2.4 kHz crossover, and it is driven by an external amplifier rated for 10-125 W. Cut-out size is 240 mm x 240 mm.
