The Ci130QSfl is a square in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeaker that sits flush with the surface and has no visible frame. It is intended for both new construction and retrofit work, and for interiors where a clean, minimal look matters. A round version with identical drivers is sold as the Ci130QRfl.
The speaker uses a Uni-Q driver array, in which the 19 mm tweeter sits at the centre of a 130 mm (5.25 in.) low/mid driver so both act as a single point source. Tangerine Waveguide technology is paired with the array to spread sound evenly through the room. The crossover point is 3.8 kHz, and the nominal coverage figure is 130.
It is a passive 8 ohm design with a sensitivity of 87 dB (2.83 V/1 m), and is used with an external amplifier rated for 10-100 W. A 50 Hz high-pass filter is recommended. It needs a cut-out of 158 x 158 mm and a rear volume of at least 10 litres, with 15 litres being ideal. Further details are available through the maker's Ci software download page.
