Beskrivning
The Les Paul Special follows the original single-cutaway design from the 1950s, built around a slab mahogany body finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. It carries a glued-in mahogany neck with a 50s Vintage profile, a bound rosewood fingerboard with acrylic dot inlays, and 22 medium-jumbo frets on a 12" (304.8 mm) radius. Scale length is 628.65 mm (24.75").
Two P-90 single-coil pickups sit in the neck and bridge positions. Controls are two volumes, two tones and a 3-way toggle switch, hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors. The strings are anchored by a wraparound bridge, and tuning is handled by Vintage Deluxe machines with white buttons. Hardware is nickel, with a black 5-ply pickguard, black top hat knobs and an amber switch tip.
The guitar is a passive instrument with a standard guitar output and needs an amplifier. It ships in a hard shell case with the Gibson Accessory Kit, and is strung with .010 to .046 gauge strings. Model code LPSP00EBNH1.
