F303

The F303 is the largest model in the F300 Series. It is a two-way floorstanding speaker with a rear port, using two 150mm multi-fibre bass/mid drivers and one 25mm polyester dome tweeter. Sensitivity is 91dB and nominal impedance is 8 ohms, so it is an easy load for a wide range of home entertainment amplifiers.
The drivers are arranged in a D'Appolito layout, with the tweeter placed centrally between the two bass/midrange units. This gives smoother dispersion through the crossover region and a wider listening sweet spot, including off-axis. The crossover is set at 3.2kHz, with a 2nd order low pass and a 3rd order high pass.
The speaker is rated for 75W RMS continuous power handling and a recommended amplifier power of 35 to 150W RMS. Connection is via standard speaker terminals on the rear. It is sold per pair in Walnut, Black Ash and Light Oak finishes, and it is marked as discontinued on the maker's range.
