The Aria Evo X N°2 is a column loudspeaker built around three drive units: a 1" aluminium/magnesium inverted-dome TAM tweeter with an M-shaped profile and waveguide, a 6.5" midrange and two 6.5" bass drivers. The midrange and bass cones are made from Flax, a sandwich of flax fibre between two thin fibreglass sheets, and the suspensions use TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) damping to steady the response between 1 kHz and 2 kHz.
The cabinet is made in France from rigid MDF with a multi-vent system. It stands on an aluminium-alloy base fitted with four spikes, and the counter-spikes come already mounted. A leather-effect front panel is covered by a magnetic cloth grille. Finishes named are Black High Gloss, Prime Walnut and Moss Green High Gloss.
The speaker has a nominal impedance of 8 Ω, a minimum of 2.9 Ω and a sensitivity of 91.5 dB. It connects to a hi-fi amplifier; Naim's Uniti Atom and Uniti Star all-in-one players are suggested as partners.
