Beskrivning

The Muff Overdrive is a reissue of the original 1969 Muff Fuzz circuit. It is an analog overdrive intended for light, edgy grit rather than heavy distortion. Turning the amp up and the guitar volume down gives a rhythm overdrive that resembles a vintage tube amp driving a worn but warm speaker.

The pedal has true bypass switching, so the signal path is unaffected when it is off. It is built in a compact die-cast chassis, measuring 70 x 115 x 54 mm (2.75 x 4.5 x 2.1 in). Its tone is described as vintage, working with the natural drive of the amplifier.

Power comes from a 9-volt battery, which is supplied with the pedal. An optional 96DC-200BI power supply can be used instead. An owner's manual is available to download. The model was discontinued in 2023.
