The MP202 DUO consists of two compact, rounded speakers. Each one works on its own, or the two can be paired wirelessly through True Wireless Stereo to form a 2.0 system. They can be placed in different spots, so the stereo image can be set up to suit the listener. Each speaker has a 2-inch driver, and the system is rated at 5.5W x 2 RMS.
Sources are Bluetooth 4.1, microSD card playback, and a USB audio connection. A built-in microphone allows hands-free calls. Battery life is up to 12 hours per speaker when used separately and up to 9 hours when the pair is used as a stereo system.
The speakers have an IP54 rating against dust and water splashes, and a soft lanyard is fitted for carrying outdoors. Charging is done over USB, including from a PC or laptop with the supplied USB charging cable.
