The OBERON 7 C is an active, wireless floorstanding speaker with two 7-inch bass/mid drivers and a 29 mm soft dome tweeter, built for larger rooms. It pairs with the DALI SOUND HUB or SOUND HUB COMPACT for stereo or multichannel setups, and is now listed as discontinued.

The OBERON 7 C is a slim floorstanding speaker with built-in amplification and wireless input. Each speaker contains two 50-watt-peak closed-loop Class D amplifiers, one for the tweeter and one for the bass/mid drivers, with a full active 24-bit DSP crossover set at 2,450 Hz. The amplifiers are specified at 100 dB signal-to-noise.
The two 7-inch bass/mid drivers use Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC) pole-pieces, which add non-conductive elements to the magnet structure to lower distortion from eddy currents, flux non-linearity and voice-coil inductance changes. The 29 mm textile soft dome tweeter has a light diaphragm intended to raise sensitivity and power handling. The cabinet is CNC-machined MDF with a large dual-flare rear reflex port and a die-cast plinth with attachment points for floor spikes or compatible feet.
Audio reaches the speaker wirelessly from the DALI SOUND HUB or SOUND HUB COMPACT, as full 24-bit / 96 kHz uncompressed audio. The SOUND HUB COMPACT transmits with a typical latency under 15 ms. The speaker belongs to the DALI EQUI ecosystem and can be used in a stereo pair or in a multichannel surround setup.
