Beskrivning
The pedal changes the pitch of the incoming signal using proprietary BOSS algorithms on a dedicated DSP platform, aiming to keep the attack and tonal character of the instrument intact, including with chords and sustained lead lines. The Shift knob covers plus or minus seven semitones, and a direction switch allows shifts of up to three octaves up or down.
A Balance knob blends the shifted signal with the direct sound, which is useful for 12-string and parallel octave effects. A Detune function of plus or minus 20 cents creates doubling effects. The pedal switch can be set to toggle or momentary operation, and the bypass is buffered.
The CTL/EXP jack accepts external footswitches for quick access to alternate tuning setups, or an expression pedal for continuous pitch control. Power comes from a 9 V battery or an optional AC adaptor. Connections are 1/4-inch input and output jacks, and the unit carries a five-year warranty.
