The AM40 is a two-way, passive-or-bi-amp loudspeaker module from the ArenaMatch range. It pairs one 14-inch neodymium woofer with six titanium-diaphragm neodymium compression drivers. Its vertical coverage is fixed at 40°, and the horizontal waveguide can be swapped between 60°, 80° and 100° to shape the pattern, including asymmetrical left/right layouts. The 40° module works for point-source use and also combines with 10° and 20° modules in line arrays, all using the same transducers for consistent tonal balance.
The cabinet is built for direct exposure to the weather: exterior-grade birch plywood, a three-layer stainless steel grille, a water-resistant woofer cone coating, a polyurethane exterior coating and a molded input cover. It is rated IP55 and is EN 54-24 certified for voice alarm use.
Every unit ships with bi-amp capability, an internal passive crossover and 70V/100V transformer inputs. Presets for ControlSpace Designer software are recommended for signal processing. Mounting uses optional Bose Professional brackets and array hardware, or the standard M12 threaded inserts for custom frames.
