The A8H is a 3-way active midfield studio monitor with an 8-inch woofer, a 3.5-inch midrange driver and an X-ART tweeter on a rotatable waveguide. It suits critical listening, mixing and mastering in mid- to full-sized rooms.

The A8H is the top model of the A Series and uses three drivers: an 8-inch Multi-Layer Mineral woofer, a 3.5-inch Dome Cone Hybrid midrange and an X-ART tweeter behind a rotatable HPS waveguide. Each driver has its own amplifier, with a PWM design for the woofer and Class A/B for the midrange and tweeter. Crossover points are at 400 Hz and 3.0 kHz. The monitor is sold as a left or right version.
Onboard DSP provides two voicings (Pure and UNR) and four bands of backplate room adaptation: Bass, Desk, Presence and Treble. Through the network port, the A Control software for Windows and macOS gives remote access to extended adaptation with 6 parametric EQ bands, level and delay, and can import Sonarworks SoundID Reference calibrations.
Audio comes in over balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA. The cabinet is front ported, with four M8 threaded inserts on the bottom for mounting, and a front LED shows status.
